About This Event

Let’s celebrate the power of women on mountain bikes.

Everwild creates a space for women of all skills and abilities to advance the sport and build community through wellness, whether you’re a veteran rider or someone who has never been on a mountain bike.

Skill clinics cover the essentials of mountain biking, introduce the fundamentals of jumping, develop advanced skills, and more! Workshops explore bike mechanics, nutrition, strength, and mobility.

Local food vendors and craft brewers will fuel your day, including Black Hat Brew Works. Demo bikes will be available. The first 100 registrants will receive a free Everwild-branded MTB water bottle.

Please note that we require names for each attendee. If registering for a minor, please use the minor’s name with a parent or guardian’s email address.

Please note that this event welcomes and respects all women, inclusively defined—this includes trans women and those who are nonbinary, gender non-conforming, and any others who identify as women in ways that are significant to them. All participants should be comfortable on bikes, independently and without training wheels.

Clinic Descriptions

Suspension Setup & Repair

Clinic will take place in two parts. Trailside Repairs will run from 9:15 AM-10:45 AM, and Basic Suspension Setup will run from 11:15 AM-12:15 PM. Trailside Repairs will help you gain the skills to conquer common trail-side challenges with confidence. Get the hang of fixing flat tires (whether with traditional tubes or tubeless setups), master derailleur and chain troubleshooting, and tackle broken spokes like a pro. Don’t let mechanical setbacks derail your ride—empower yourself with the knowledge to keep your mountain bike rolling smoothly. Basic Suspension Setup will delve into the fundamentals of suspension, unraveling the vocabulary that often mystifies riders. You’ll be empowered with the knowledge of how and when to fine-tune your bike’s suspension to find your best ride and get hands-on with your own bike as you apply the newly acquired knowledge to check and adjust your bike’s suspension settings.

Youth Essentials (Ages 8-13)

Review and practice the essentials in a controlled environment as you focus on the importance of body positioning and technical skills such as braking, shifting, and steering. This clinic includes small features, drills, and demonstrations.

Adult Progression (Ages 14+)

This clinic is for intermediate riders. Discover the importance and power of body positioning and learn to navigate tight situations, work on climbing and descending, tackle tough features, and practice cornering. This clinic spends more time on open trails and stops to session certain features.

Adult Advanced (Ages 14+)

Intermediate+/advanced: this clinic is a more extended, advanced approach to the skills riders already have. Emphasis on the progression in technique with more advanced maneuvers of the rider’s skills. Cornering, braking, slow speed, balance, body bike position, wheel lifts, variance of these skills, switch backs, basic drops, vision, and more. A great opportunity to expand the solid techniques you may already be using while making your riding fun.

Adult Intro to Jump (Ages 14+)

Make progress with fellow riders as you go from wheel lifts to bunny hops to small gap jumps. These clinics explore the mechanics of taking off and safely landing on flats and descents. Expand your riding capabilities to confidently hit trail features you wouldn’t have before.

Adult Intro to Racing (Ages 14+)

Getting to the top step takes a lot of dedication, motivation, and luck, and race prep sharpens your skills as an athlete. This clinic will cover types of races, race starts and transitions, race gear, nutrition and hydration tips, training and skills basics, and race course technicalities. We will have the opportunity to pre-ride Sunday’s race course, practice group starts, and time your laps. Gain the confidence you need to shred your next race!
