Westwood Community Trails invites you to explore the town’s trails and learn more about their importance to the community. Free monthly guided hikes last about two hours, vary in distance and topography, and explore a number of areas at Hale and beyond. There’s no need to RSVP; just show up! Sat. Apr 5— Discover the Oak Hill area on this 3-4-mile hike over mixed terrain. Meet at the South Entrance Lot at 635 Dover Road.
Sat. Apr 19— Enjoy Currier Reservation on this 1-2-mile hike over mostly flat terrain. Meet at Downey Street in Westwood.
Sat. May 3— Explore Dedham Forest on this 3-4-mile hike over mostly flat terrain. Park at 960 Washington Street in Westwood.
Sat. June 7— Hike Powissett Peak on this 3-4-mile hike over mixed terrain. Meet at the South Entrance Lot at 635 Dover Road.
Sat. July 5—Discover Martha Jones on this 1-2-mile hike over mostly flat terrain. Park at Martha Jones School Lot in Westwood.
Sat. Aug. 2—Explore Powisset Farm on this 2-3-mile hike over mixed terrain. Meet at 39 Powisset Street in Dover.
