The Great Pumpkin Smash MTB Race
Join us for this 4-mile course on some of Hale's best trails. This event is designed as an XC Olympic (XCO) format race, and has opportunities for races of all ages and abilities. Family members are welcome to attend as spectators and competitors.

About This Event
Designed as an XC Olympic (XCO) format race, the Great Pumpkin Smash will feature a 4-mile course on some of Hale’s best trails.
Family members are welcome to attend as spectators, and are invited to compete with each other to determine whether kids or adults have the fastest lap. Juniors will tackle the course first, and adults will follow later that morning. Fun and games in the venue area will entertain riders and non-riders alike. Team tents will be allowed and an area will be set up for them. This is a no-swag-all-brag, run watcha brung, old skool 3-podium finish race.
The main course loop is available on Trailforks.
Some segments will be added to loop that are shorter but with a higher degree of difficulty. They will be clearly marked and have signage. This will also be explained on race day. Our races tend to be interesting, expect the unexpected route may be modified from the above link on race day.
