DeCorsie "DJ" James

DJ is a challenge course specialist, overnight counselor, and the assistant director of Hale Outdoor Learning Adventures. He facilitates small groups in teambuilding, games, and high ropes activities, and plans and assists with overnight programs. Before working at Hale, DJ held a variety of roles in the retail, customer service, food service, and delivery industries, and brings leadership experience from them to Hale. He loves spending time in nature to relax and be in the moment. He also loves connecting with staff and participants and encourages everyone to put their best effort forward and watch great things come from their hard work. When DJ is not at Hale, he enjoys recording and writing music and designing and working on original clothing. He lives in Dorchester with his dog.
