Dan Frankel
Dan doesn’t sit still. When in his 20s, he co-founded The University of Virginia’s mountain biking team, sailed the Atlantic on a 32’ junk-rigged schooner, and worked at bicycle shops in four different states. After going back to school in Boston, pursuing a career in finance, and co-founding two insurance ventures, Dan and his family moved closer to Hale. When his kids began racing in Hale’s MTB programs, he volunteered as a coach and began teaching youth and adults. Dan earned a B.A. from The University of Virginia and an MBA from Babson College. He, his wife Molly, and their dog Ernie live in Medfield while their two college-age kids are out chasing their dreams. Dan is a Bike Instructor Certification Program Level 1 instructor.
